General objective of the project

The project falls under the Specific Objective 4.5 of the Interreg Programme: ensuring equal access to healthcare and strengthening the resilience of health systems, including primary care, and promoting the transition from institutional care to family- and community-based care, by contributing with two modernized medical units to the achievement of this objective.

Specific objectives of the project

Modernization

Modernizing medical infrastructure by equipping and renovating two medical units—one in Moisei (Romania) and the other in Solotvyno (Ukraine)—with advanced medical equipment and technology.

Improving Cooperation

Enhancing cross-border cooperation by establishing sustainable collaboration between healthcare professionals from Moisei and Solotvyno through: joint training programs, exchange visits and workshops for professionals, and sharing resources to optimize the use of medical equipment and expertise across the border.

Improving Access

Improving access to healthcare by increasing the accessibility and quality of medical services for citizens living in Moisei and Solotvyno through: equipping facilities with advanced technology, promoting preventive healthcare through community programs, providing medical assistance for vulnerable populations, and encouraging the transition to community-based care by supporting the development of community healthcare services.

Rehabilitation

Comprehensive rehabilitation of the building through structural reinforcement, thermal insulation, replacement of flooring and joinery, and renewal of sanitary, heating, and electrical installations, including the purchase of a thermal power plant (boiler system).

Solar Panels

Installation of solar panels for domestic hot water production.

Floor Slab Replacement

Replacement of the wooden floor slab, roof structure, gutters, and downspouts.

Elevator Installation

Procurement and installation of an elevator for people with disabilities.

Equipping the dental office through the acquisition of:

Dispensary Equipment

Dispensary equipment through the acquisition of:

Portable electrocardiograph
Dermatoscope
Otoscope
Ophthalmoscope
Spirometer
5D ultrasound system
Telemedicine system

As part of this project, we will conduct professional training programs to improve the quality of the services provided.

The strengthening of cross-border cooperation will also be achieved through experience exchange, joint trainings, and the sharing of resources and best practices in the medical field.
